What does organic, natural, or chemical nature mean?

Published by admin | Filed under article

We have this lab for chemistry and it asks to identify if its organic, natural, or chemical nature. What exactly does this mean?

Organic, in chemical terms, means it has carbon hydrogen & oxygen bonds. It is not the Organic that you would think of when referring to food. Natural, I think, means it comes from an animal or plant source. And chemical would be everything else, like mineral or plastic.

Hope that this helps. :>)
